The institution’s aim is to make information on the public transport more accessible.
While the positive side of the new trip planner at www.peatus.ee is that in includes information on bus, ferry and flight traffic, its negative aspect is that there is no information on the prices of the trips. “We are planning to start displaying ticket prices of routes on this website as it is important for many people,” noted the head of the public transport department of the Roads Administration Ingmar Roos.
The administration stated that in near future it is planning to work hard to be able to include the rest of the local routes – those of smaller cities and rural municipalities – also in the system. Currently the trip planner displays schedules of county routes and inter-city routes and the schedules of the Tallinn, Pärnu, Rakvere and Tartu city routes.
