Janis Marsans appointed head of Latvijas Gaisa satiksme board

Print versionFormer Transport Ministry's State Secretary Janis Marsans has been appointed chairman of the board at the state-owned joint-stock air navigation company Latvijas Gaisa satiksme (LGS), according to a statement printed in the newspaper Latvijas Vestnesis.

Eriks Jekabsons and Ilmars Punka, the previous LGS board chairman, have been appointed LGS board members.
Marsans was appointed the Transport Ministry's state secretary in August 2006, but stepped at the beginning of July this year.
Before August 2006, Marsans worked as chairman of LGS board.
