airBaltic teams up with BCG to review business plan for future development

Latvian national airline airBaltic has selected a global management consulting firm Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in a tendering process to review the business model for the future development of the airline currently serving 60 destinations in Europe, Russia, CIS and Middle East, reported BC Janis Vanags, vice president of corporate communications at airBaltic.
Martin Gauss, Chief Executive Officer of airBaltic: “As the biggest player in the Baltic aviation market, airBaltic needs to strengthen its leadership position and streamline the business with the new global reality. BCG will assist airBaltic management to develop a roadmap for the future in areas such as business planning, revenue enhancement and cost optimisation.”
BCG was selected in a tendering process from a pool of six bidders. BCG is a global management consulting firm that has worked on 250 projects for airlines worldwide in the past five years.
