Estonian citizens transporting 120 kg hashish were caught in St Petersburg

Russian Federal Drug Control Service staff caught four persons, including two Estonian citizens in St Petersburg who tried to smuggle over 120 kg of hashish into the country, LETA.Public Broadcasting reports.

At the end of last month, the Service gained information that a large amount of drugs were about to brought to St Petersburg and surveillance was launched.

 

At the beginning of June, two Russian and two Estonian citizens were arrested at the moment of handing over of the drugs at the Pulkovo highway in St Petersburg. When their vehicles were searched, 121 kg hashish was discovered. A criminal investigation has been launched.
