Restrictions on entry into Finland extended until January 12

Finland will continue to control the internal border and extend the entry restrictions until January 12, the government decided on Thursday, writes LETA/BNS- STT.
Measures to replace internal border control have not yet been implemented.
The restrictions apply to travel between Finland and other Schengen countries and apply to people from Belgium, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Germany and Estonia, among others.
Allowed to enter Finland from these countries are only Finns returning to their homeland, transit passengers, passengers travelling for work and those arriving in the country for unavoidable reasons.
