Those Latvian citizens who have been stuck at the German-Polish border need to send their information via e-mail to [email protected] before noon on March 16.

Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu emphasized that Estonian citizens seeking to return to Estonia can notify the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of their wish to return home by way of convoy until 8 a.m. on Monday, March 16. Passing through Polish territory later will no longer be possible. In order to express the wish to return to Estonia this way, the ministry is asking that people send their information to the e-mail address [email protected].

Those wishing to return home by land vehicle must send their first and last name, date of birth, phone number, location (country, city) and type of vehicle (for example, private vehicle, buss, minivan) to the e-mail address mentioned above.

Those wishing to return home but not in possession of a vehicle must send their first and last name, date of birth, phone number and location to the e-mail address.

In order to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus, Poland closed its borders to foreigners and suspended air and rail connections with other countries.
