The store will be located in the shopping mall Saga, which is being built on the outskirts of Riga near Stopini Region and will have an area of 5,250 square meters.

"Our goal is to make sports accessible to as many people as possible, adapting to their level of preparedness, location, price level and comfort," Decathlon Riga told LETA.

The Decathlon chain, established in France, includes more than 1,400 stores in 47 countries in Europe, North America, South America, Africa and Asia. In total, the company employs almost 80,000 people.

According to Firmas.lv, the Latvian branch of Decathlon Lietuva was registered on April 29.
