Bayer projects EUR 65 mln revenue in Baltics for 2020

Lithuania-based pharmaceutical wholesaler Bayer, which is part of Germany's Bayer Group, in 2019 posted 62.553 million euros in consolidated revenue in the Baltic countries, up 12.5% from 55.603 million euros in 2018, informs LETA/BNS.

The company is projecting 65 million euros in revenue for 2020.
Consolidated net profits came in at 1.191 million euros last year, unchanged from 2018, according to its report filed with the Center of Registers.
In Lithuania alone, Bayer's net profit soared by 41.5% to 1.132 million euros as revenue jumped by 13.2% to 58.818 million euros. Revenue is expected to grow further to around 60 million this year.
The group consists of the Lithuania-based parent company and its subsidiaries in Latvia and Estonia. The company is 100 percent owned by Finland’s Bayer Nordic whose ultimate shareholder is Germany's Bayer.
