Estonia: Detailed spatial plan approved for Manniku technology park

The city of Tallinn has endorsed the detailed spatial plan for the development of production and commercial buildings on 28 hectares of land in the Silikaadi technology park in the Manniku district on the southwestern outskirts of the city, informed LETA/BNS.

The developer of the technology park is Silikaat Grupp subsidiary Silikaadi Tehnopark OU. It will be possible to establish on the 22 plots of the technology park stock office buildings up to four stories high along with traditional commercial, warehouse and production buildings.

 

In total, the detailed spatial plan determines building rights for the establishment of 65 buildings and structures, Silikaat Grupp said.

 

The current operators in the technology park are building materials manufacturer AS Silikaat, food producer Marmiton and the office and central warehouse of Nevotex and Saunamaailm.

 

The developer of the technology park, Silikaadi Tehnopark OU, works together with both its parent company Silikaat Grupp AS as well as real estate subsidiary Silikaat Kinnisvara AS.

Silikaat Grupp is a holding company for 33 enterprises, which include the shopping mall property operator OU Jarve Kaubanduskeskus, AS Silikaat, furniture mall operator Aatrium Sisustuskaubamaja AS, Silikaat Kinnisvara AS, as well as agricultural companies Koo Agro OU, Mangeni PM and Biometaan OU.
