Estonian window, door maker Saastke OU boosts FY revenue 2.3% to EUR 14.7 mln

Saastke OU, Estonian manufacturer of wooden doors, windows, window shutters and frames, saw its sales revenue in 2019 climb 2.3% to 14.7 mln euros while its net profit rose 9.6% to 854,300 euros, informed LETA/BNS.

The management board described the year 2019 as satisfactory for the company. The company continued selling its products to new markets and preserved old markers despite tight competition, it appears from the management's remarks accompanying the annual report.

 

The average number of employees was 217, two fewer than the year before. Labor costs grew 2.7% to 4 mln euros. 

 

The company's objective in 2020 is to maintain operating volumes or increase them somewhat. 

 

The core business of Saastke OU is the manufacture of windows and doors from wood at its manufacturing facility in Joesuu village in Parnu County and the export of output to Scandinavia. 

 

The company has a subsidiary, SparVinduer ApS, in Denmark, a subsidiary by the name of SparVinduer AS in Norway and a subsidiary by the name of SparFonster AB in Sweden.
