Rimi Lithuania to invest EUR 12 mln into new stores next year

Rimi Lietuva (Rimi Lithuania), operating a retail chain in Lithuania, plans to open 12 news stores next year and invest around 12 million euros, writes LETA/BNS.
We will expand the chain in both major cities and the country's smaller towns next year. We are also looking for land lots and premises for new stores in cities with minimum populations of 20,000," Rosita Kuceviciene, expansion director at Rimi Lietuva, said in a statement.
The chain plans t open six new stores by the end of this year.
Rimi Lietuva now has 64 stores in Lithuania. It voiced plans earlier to bring the number to 100 by 2023.
