Enterprise Estonia (EAS) is about to start accepting applications for participation in a mentor program for growth companies that would help business operators who are planning product development or export, informs LETA/BNS.

Applications for the second group of this year's mentor program will be accepted until Nov. 27. The duration of the program is nine months, spokespeople for EAS said.

Karina Tomba, head of services at EAS, said that the program is geared towards rapidly developing companies that need personal support, advice and new know-how in resolving of practical challenges.

Personal mentors enable to support business operators in product development, entry into new markets and optimization of processes. The program will also address crisis management and adapting the business model.

The couple of tens of mentors to work with businesses under the program include Heidi Kakko, partner at BaltCap Growth Fund and business counselor at Espira; Kristjan Rotenberg, former plant manager at Harju Elekter Elektrotehnika; and Jaan Hendrik Murumets from the IT company Krakul, Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2020.

In the course of the mentor program, an action plan for the business for the next two years will be prepared, development opportunities charted and targeted, and the network of contacts of the business operator expanded.

In addition, ten workshops geared towards the needs of the companies will take place, conducted by renowned Estonian and international experts in their respective fields.

The mentor program for growth businesses is implemented by EAS in collaboration with Civitta Estonia.
