Indorama Netherlands seeks Lithuanian regulator's nod to buy Poland's IMP Polowat

Indorama Netherlands, a Dutch-registered polyethylene terephthalate (PET) product manufacturer, has applied for approval from Lithuania's competition watchdog for its acquisition of 100 % of shares in Poland's PET recycler Industrie Maurizio Peruzzo Polowat (IMP Polowat).

The Lithuanian Competition Council said on Tuesday it had
received the request the previous week.
Indorama Netherlands operates as a holding company in
Lithuania. Local companies affiliated to it produce and supply unprocessed PET
granules, polyester products and recycled PET granules.
IMP Polowat supplies recycled PET flakes and PET granules to
customers in Lithuania.
