Price of Tallinn apartments grew by 9.3% in September y-o-y
Compared with August, the average price per square meter rose 3.2%, figures available from the Land Board show.
The median price per square meter of apartments in the capital city rose 11.3% on year to 2,066.44 euros, while month-over-month an increase of 1.8% was registered.
Altogether 806 transactions worth 98.4 million euros were carried out in Tallinn in September, compared with 629 transactions worth 75.2 million euros in August. In September 2019, 828 transactions worth 88.3 million euros were conducted.
Across Estonia, excluding Tallinn, the average price per square meter of apartments rose 16.5% on year to 949.83 euros in September. Compared with August, an increase of 4.9% was registered.
The median price per square meter for apartments outside Tallinn was 731.71 euros, 24.7% higher than the year before. Compared with August, the median price increased 6.7%.
The number of transactions outside Tallinn was 1,039 and the total value of the transactions was 59.4 million euros in September, compared with respectively 1,203 transactions and 66.5 million euros the month before. In September 2019, the number of transactions outside Tallinn was 1,269 and the total value of the transactions amounted to 61.6 million euros.
Figures available from the Estonian Land Board may change when data is adjusted.
