Private gatherings indoors and outdoors to be limited to 10 people in Latvia
Starting from Friday, private gatherings both indoors and outdoors will be limited to ten people. So far up to ten people were allowed to gather indoors and up to 100 outdoors for private events.
The restrictions for public events will be 300 both indoors and outdoors compared to 300 indoors and up to 1,000 outdoors earlier. During public events indoors, people should remained in fixed, personalized seats and wear face masks.
According to the Finance Ministry's report, ministries in 2020 have economized EUR 46 million, of which EUR 19,683,356 will be transferred to the contingency funds, while EUR 26,262,884 will remain in disposal of ministries and will be used to reduce the impact of the Covid-19 crisis.
The ministry said that funds have been economized mostly in relation to cancelled trips and on-site events, transport expenses and fuel expenses, as well as cancelled public events, reduction of utilities costs and lower fuel prices.
