Global Business Summit to focus on digital turnaround in fight against COVID-19

A global business summit, a joint initiative of Estonia and the United Arab Emirates, is to be held virtually on Wednesday; the summit seeks to bring together the public and private sector to expedite a digital turnaround in the fight against COVID-19, informs LETA/BNS.

The summit will be opened by Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs Urmas Reinsalu and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, spokespeople for the Foreign Ministry told BNS on Tuesday.


Also taking the floor at the summit will be former prime minister of the United Kingom Tony Blair, former president of Estonia Toomas Hendrik Ilves, Director-General of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and several more experts. The states participating in the business forum will introduce their best innovative solutions in their fight with the coronavirus pandemic.
