Industrial park being developed outside Gulbene
An industrial park is being developed on a ten hectares large land plot outside the eastern Latvian town of Gulbene, the park's board member Maksims Zagoruiko informed LETA.
The total leasable commercial area of the industrial park, which is being developed in cooperation with the local authority and with EU support, is more than 15,000 square meters. The industrial park is situated in Skieneri, Stradu municipality and just three kilometers from the center of Gulbene.
The services planned as part of the commercial project include a customs zone, logistics center, consultative support, hotel, catering and conference halls. The site already has developed infrastructure with a network of access roads, communications and security.
Representatives declined to disclose the amount of investments made in the industrial park.
At present, the industrial park has six tenants: Sters G, Lapa, M.T.Z.-Serviss, Kombainserviss, Tehagroserviss, Buve and Gulbenes Nami. Information available at Firmas.lv suggests that half of these firms are linked with Zagoruiko.
