Estonia: Avg price of Tallinn apartments up 2.6% on year in November
Compared with October, the average price per square meter fell 1.4%, figures available from the Land Board show.
The median price per square meter of apartments in the capital city rose 7.5% on year to 2,112.72 euros, while month-over-month an increase of 1% was registered.
Altogether 984 transactions worth 119.6 mln euros were carried out in Tallinn in November, compared with 929 transactions worth 107.2 mln euros in October. In November 2019, 901 transactions worth 107.8 mln euros were conducted.
Across Estonia, excluding Tallinn, the average price per square meter of apartments rose 15.7% on year to 969.16 euros in November. Compared with October, an increase of 2.3% was registered.
The median price per square meter for apartments outside Tallinn was 824.88 euros, 15.5% higher than the year before. Compared with October, the median price decreased 2.7%.
The number of transactions outside Tallinn was 1,182 and the total value of the transactions was 71.9 mln euros in November, compared with respectively 1,258 transactions and 74.9 mln euros the month before. In November 2019, the number of transactions outside Tallinn was 1,115 and the total value of the transactions amounted to 57.1 mln euros.
Figures available from the Estonian Land Board may change when data is adjusted.
