Lithuanian women continue to earn less than men

Men's gross monthly wages in Lithuania exceeded those of women by 177.6 euros on average in the third quarter of 2020, according to figures released by Statistics Lithuania.
Women's gross wages in Lithuania's economy, excluding sole proprietorships, averaged 1,365.7 euros, or 88.3% of men's average of 1,543.3 euros.
Women's net wages, at 877.4 euros, made up 89.7% of men's net wages, at 978.1 euros on average.
