Lithuania's avg wholesale electricity falls 11% w-o-w - Litgrid

Lithuania's average wholesale electricity price dropped by 11% last week compared with a week earlier, Litgrid said on Monday.
Electricity prices in Nord Pool's Lithuanian bidding area averaged 29.4 euros per megawatt-hour (MWh) on March 2-8, the power transmission system operator said in a press release.
Y-o-y, the average price slumped down by around 30% it noted.
Wholesale prices in Latvia and Estonia also averaged 29.4 euros per MWh, down by 12.2% and 12.7% w-o-w, respectively. Across the Nord Pool system, the average price remained stable at 12.8 euros.
Lithuania's domestic electricity production fell by 22% to 84 gigawatt-hours (GWh) last week, covering 34% of the country's consumption which totaled 247 GWh.
