Lithuania's budget revenue EUR 959 mln below target in Jan-Oct

Lithuania's central government and municipalities collected a total of 8.591 billion euros in budget revenue between January and October, 959.1 mln euros, or 10%, below the projected level and 226 mln euros, or 2.6%, lower that in the same period last year, the Finance Ministry said on Friday, writes LETA/BNS.
The central government's budget revenue for the ten months of 2020 came in at 6.985 bn euros, 11.6% below the target and 2.9% below the year-earlier level.
Tax revenue alone decreased by 145.4 mln euros, or 2.2%, y-o-y, falling 787.3 mln euros, or 10.8%, short of the target.
This year's central government budget projects 9.548 bn euros in annual revenue not including EU funds and 11.53 bn euros including EU funds.
